Jurassic World 2 trailer is 2 awesome!

It’s been 200 million years in the making, or rather, three years since the last movie, but Jurassic World 2, aka, Fallen Kingdom, is finally just a few months away. And Universal has released a brand new, first full length trailer, along with a few extra tidbits to go along with it. Set for release on June 22, 2018 A.D., Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has stars, Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, back to save the day, along with BD Wong, who has played Dr. Henry Wu since the very first Jurassic Park opened in 1993. Especially exciting for fans of this world of prehistoric beasts is the return of mathematician and chaos theorist, Dr. Ian Malcolm, who we haven’t seen since the sequel The Lost World in 1997. New to the franchise will be humans, James Cromwell, Toby Jones, Ted Levine. Geraldine Chaplin and Justice Smith, and dinosaurs, Baryonyx and the hybrid, Indoraptor.

First, let’s take a look at an enormously entertaining video of Pratt and Howard attempting to upload the trailer for all the world to see:

Now, here’s a terrific behind the scenes featurette with interviews, exclusive scenes and more:

And finally, what we’ve all been waiting for, the first official full length trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom:

Pretty spectacular, right? Directed by Spanish filmmaker J.A. Bayona (The Orphanage, A Monster Calls), with a script by returning writers, Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly, the film also has Trevorrow (who helmed the previous film) and Steven Spielberg (who directed the first two Jurassic Park movies) serving as executive producers, with returning producers, Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley, along with Belen Atienza. Plot-wise, though we’d be happy with just dinosaurs running around trying to eat people and each other, it seems as though a volcano is set to erupt on Isla Nublar, threatening the home of the original dinosaurs who’ve been allowed to roam free. It’s up to Owen and Claire to save them once again from extinction. From Universal Pictures, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom explodes onto theater screens June 22, 2018.
